Ann Larson is the Head of US Quantitative Research at Bernstein. Ann joined Bernstein? Institutional Sales team in 1994, moved to the Equity Portfolio Strategy Group as an associate in 1995, and became a Senior Quantitative Analyst in 1999. She currently leads the US Quant Team, and conducts, publishes and markets its quantitative research, developing multivariate stock-selection models, and working with institutional clients to implement customized quantitative solutions. Ann earned a BBA in Information Systems and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Loyola University in Maryland. She has been named a Top US Analyst in Quantitative Research by Bloomberg Markets magazine. In its 2019 poll, Institutional Investor named Ann a Runner-Up in the US Quantitative Research sector.
Sarah McCarthy is a Senior Analyst at Bernstein leading the European Quantitative Strategy team. Prior to joining Bernstein in 2015, Sarah was a member of Nomura? Institutional Investor-ranked European Equity Strategy and Quantitative Strategy team (which originated at Lehman Brothers) as specialist sales. Sarah joined Lehman Brothers in 2007, initially on the Program & Electronic sales trading desk for five years before transitioning to Quant Strategy. Sarah holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences & Computing from the University of Limerick, an MSc in Quantitative Finance from University College Dublin, is a CFA charter holder, and has acquired the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
